The Spark series recently got another upgrade with the stylish new Spark 7 release. It has a new ergonomic design and updated internals. The specifications include a large display, a dual camera, and a large 5000 mAh battery. Making up a curious and interesting take on this entry-level design. The Tecno Spark 7 measures 164.5 x 76.5 x 9 mm (height x width x thickness) with a total weight of 163 grams. Coming to cameras, it has a dual 16 MP, AF rear camera, and a single 8 MP front camera for selfies. This phone has a 6.6 inches, 720 x 1600 pixels IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 270 PPI. It has a micro USB 2.0 port for data syncing and charging. There is a fingerprint sensor present on the Spark 7 smartphone. It is a dual SIM smartphone with support for Wi-Fi, and GPS too.

Launch

This phone, the Tecno Spark 7 was released on 2021, April 19. This phone has a 164.5 x 76.5 x 9 mm dimension and weighs about 163 grams. It is also a Dual SIM smartphone that uses Nano-SIM and has a dual standby. On the front is a dew-drop display wherein the selfie camera lies. Its back panel has a dual-camera module on the right-hand side. As for the fingerprint scanner, there is rear-mounted just beside the camera module.

The Tecno Spark 7 smartphone supports four network technologies. These are GSM, HSPA, and LTE. HSPA extends and improves the performance of existing 3G mobile telecommunication networks using the WCDMA protocols. LTE  is a standard for wireless broadband communication for mobile devices and data terminals, based on the GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSPA technologies.

Also powering the Spark 7 is an Octa-core (4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×1.5 GHz Cortex-A53), MediaTek Helio A25 chipset. This version of Android it runs is based on HIOS 7.5.

Under the hood, it also brings a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The PowerVR GE8320 by Imagination Technologies is an integrated graphics card for mid-range ARM SoCs. It belongs to the Series8XE series of GPUs (GE8xx0) and supports OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 1.2, Android NN HAL API, and Vulkan 1.0. Cameras

There are three cameras on the Tecno Spark 7. They are made up of a main 16 MP, AF, and a Secondary unknown camera. The main feature here is a Quad-LED flash and it can shoot video up to 1080p@30fps with the main camera, and 1080p@30fps also with the selfie. Speaking of the selfie, on Spark 7 there is a single 8 MP shooter.

Battery
