Lenovo Tab M10 : Chipset and Performance

The Lenovo Tab M10 is powered by a Mediatek MT6761 Helio A22 (12 nm) processor. This is a budget-minded processor and it shows in the performance of the tablet. Benchmark scores are middle-of-the-road, and everyday use is okay, but don’t expect top-notch speed or power. The tab does have 4GB of RAM, which helps with multitasking.

Lenovo Tab M10 : Display and Design

The Lenovo Tab M10 is a budget-friendly Android tablet with a 10.1-inch screen and a mediocre processor. It has some good features, like a Full HD display and dual stereo speakers, but its battery life is short and its camera is lacking. The Lenovo Tab M10 has a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels. The display is bright and colors are fairly saturated. Viewing angles are good, but there is some visible distortion when viewing the screen from extreme angles. The tablet has an aluminum back panel with a plastic frame. The overall build quality is good, but the tablet feels a bit flimsy.

Lenovo Tab M10 : Battery Life

Lenovo rates the battery life of the Tab M10 at up to 8 hours of use with 5000mAH. In our real world battery test, which loops a video at full screen brightness with WiFi on, the tablet lasted for 5 hours and 45 minutes. This is below average for tablet battery life and you may need to keep the charger handy for long days of use.

Lenovo Tab M10 : Camera Capabilities

Lenovo’s Tab M10 comes with a single rear camera, and it’s a bit of a disappointment. The camera module is protruding and quite bulky, which makes the tablet less comfortable to hold. The rear camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels and an aperture of f/2.0 with a front camera of 5MP. That’s not very impressive by today’s standards, especially considering that most smartphones have better cameras.

The camera app is very basic, and there are only a few shooting modes: photo, video, panorama, and time-lapse. There are no manual controls or advanced features, so you’re pretty much stuck with whatever the automatic mode decides to do. Image quality is adequate for casual use, but don’t expect to get amazing photos with the Tab M10. The camera is good enough for basic web browsing and social media, but if you’re looking for a tablet that takes great pictures, you’ll be better off with something else.
