Google officially unveiled the Pixel 11 series in August 2026.

The Pixel 11 Pro XL features a 6.8-inch Super Actua LTPO OLED display with a 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 1344 × 2992 resolution, and up to 3,600 nits peak brightness, providing smooth scrolling, sharp detail, and excellent outdoor visibility.

At its core is Google’s new Tensor G6 chipset, paired with 12GB or 16GB RAM and storage options starting at 256GB, with higher-capacity versions available up to 1TB. The phone is designed around Google’s latest Gemini Intelligence features and AI-powered productivity and photography tools.

For photography, the Pixel 11 Pro XL features a triple rear camera system with a redesigned 50MP main camera, ultrawide and telephoto cameras, with the Pro system supporting advanced zoom capabilities of up to 120x. Google’s new camera features include Magic Capture, Camera Looks, Night Sight improvements, and 8K Pro Stable Video.

The phone also introduces HiLight, an LED notification system integrated around the rear camera area. It can provide visual alerts for notifications and contacts, adding a rather Google-esque bit of unnecessary cleverness that is nevertheless genuinely useful.
