Nokia 5710 XpressAudio
The Nokia 5710 XpressAudio is basically what is called in certain circles, often as a secondary phone or one that does not offer the trappings of the standard smartphone. It’s known for its long battery life, its compact and resilient build, bright TFT screen, and practical utility programs.
Design
The Nokia 5710 XpressAudio is a throwback to the days of basic phones when calls and texts were the modes of communication. It’s a thick phone, with the upper half holding a 2.4-inch TFT screen while the lower half houses the analog hard rubber keyboard. It has one unified plastic body, with a removable back. It has no fancy selfie cameras on the front, other than an ear grill at the top and a downward-firing speaker at the bottom. It also has an LED flash on the back so it can be used as a torch too. It also comes with built-in wireless earbuds housed underneath the back slider and charged by the phone.
Performance
The Nokia 5710 XpressAudio is basically a basic analog device, usually used as a secondary phone, largely due to its ability to keep a battery for days on end. It runs the Unisoc T107 chipset running the Nokia Kai operating system, so there is no chance that it will support applications such as WhatsApp. There are a few games preinstalled though, in addition to the common utility programs like calculator, calendar, and radio. It runs an older version Java browser too. Certainly, it is a device for simpler times, and it truly delivers. It comes with 48MB of RAM & 128MB of ROM.
Cameras
The Nokia 5710 XpressAudio is not what we’d call a camera phone. But if you need one, there is one at the back with a VGA lens with flash, offering grainy and often noisy pictures, but should have been expected. There is possibly no selfie camera here.
Other features
The Nokia 5710 XpressAudio is a utilitarian phone, for simpler times and practical purposes. It has a wireless FM radio, a browser, a basic removable 1450mAh battery, supports micro-USB charging, Bluetooth, and a headphone jack. It comes in Black/White and Red/White.
