The Vivo V25 5G is a continuation of Vivo’s line of premium devices, which are pretty new in the market. A 90Hz super AMOLED screen, a primary 64MP camera, 44W fast charging, a huge battery at 4500mAh, and the new flagship Mediatek Dimensity 900 5G chipset. Add 5G and its quite a competitively priced midrange. It ticks pretty much every box, and then some. This phone is certainly a midrange powerhouse.
Design
The Vivo V25 5G comes with a 6.44-inch 90Hz Super AMOLED screen with a big center tear-drop notch design for the selfie camera. It has even bezels and a very narrow chin, with a screen-to-body ratio of 84.7%. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and supports HD10 which makes it an absolute delight to consume media with. It has a plastic frame, a glass back, and a Schoot Xensation front panel. It is very bright and vivid, peaking at 800 nits. It’s not rated for dust and splash protection, but it surely is splashproof. unfortunately, it loses the headphone jack. It has a fast under-display optical fingerprint sensor. It does not support stereo speakers but still offers great sound when playing media.

Vivo’s UI is rich in customizations, supporting numerous always-on-screen animations. No lags or slow transitions on this one. Everything feels fast, fluid, and rich in color.
Cameras
The Vivo V25 5G has a triple camera arrangement on the back. It comes with an excellent 64 MP primary sensor, with 8 MP picture binning for those excellent daylight photos. It has an 8MP ultra-wide with a 120˚ FOV, for great landscape and group photos. There is also an extra 2MP macro lens. The video can support up to 4K video at 30 fps, with HDR supports & gyro-EIS stability assistance. It can also record 1080p video at 60 fps. The selfie camera at a generous 50MP wide sensor, capable of 4K at 30fps and 1080p video at 30fps. The selfies and videos are great and well-exposed.

The Vivo V25 5G has excellent 44W fast charging, which can charge the phone to 69% in 30 mins. That is in addition to the fact that it also comes with a Li-Po 4500mAh non-removable battery. Even with the 90Hz high refresh rate AMOLED screen, this should be more than a day’s worth. The main concession would be that there is no wireless charging or wired reverse charging. It, fortunately, does support NFC for contactless paying.
