Travel Carrying Bag for PS5 Pro

Travel Carrying Bag for PS5 Pro Price in Kenya, Full Specifications and Review (2026)

The Travel Carrying Bag for PS5 Pro price in Kenya is KSh 6,500. It is a carrying bag made for the PlayStation 5 Pro, Sony’s most powerful PS5, for owners who take their console to friends’ homes, gaming events, campus or on holiday.

Protection matters more with the PS5 Pro than with any other PlayStation. It is Sony’s most expensive console, so a cracked panel, damaged port or knock during travel is a costly mistake, and a KSh 6,500 bag is cheap insurance by comparison. The Pro also has its own shape. It is wider and flatter than the PS5 Slim, with distinctive black vent bands across the body, so bags built for the original PS5 or the Slim may not hold it securely.

The comparison at Phonesstore Kenya is the Jaffzora Game Console Travel Backpack at KSh 11,000. The Jaffzora is a padded nylon backpack with space for a console and a 15.6-inch laptop, several pockets and a luggage trolley strap. It lists PS5 compatibility but doesn’t confirm a fit for the Pro. This bag is made specifically for the PS5 Pro and costs KSh 4,500 less.

You can buy the Travel Carrying Bag for PS5 Pro from Phonesstore Kenya, where it is available with competitive pricing and nationwide delivery across Kenya.

Why the PS5 Pro Needs Its Own Bag

The PS5 Pro, released in November 2024, is Sony’s high-end PS5 for players who want the best graphics. It has a stronger GPU, advanced ray tracing and PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution upscaling. Physically, it is roughly 388mm wide, 89mm tall and 216mm deep (excluding the stand), and weighs about 3.1kg. That shape sits between the bulky original PS5 and the compact Slim, so bags made for either model won’t hold the Pro as securely. A bag sized for the Pro limits movement inside, which is what protects the console’s panels, vents and ports from knocks.

The Pro also ships without a disc drive. Owners who play physical games use Sony’s detachable disc drive, sold separately, and the vertical stand is also a separate purchase. Anyone carrying the disc drive or stand should check whether the bag has room for them, as it isn’t specified.

Compatibility

This bag is designed for the PS5 Pro. It is not designed for the original launch PS5, which is taller and won’t fit, or the PS5 Slim, which is smaller and would move around inside. Owners of those models should choose a bag made for their console.

What to Check Before Buying

The bag’s brand, dimensions, materials, padding and compartments are not specified. Buyers who need particular features should confirm them with the store before buying. Useful things to check are space for two DualSense controllers, a headset, the detachable disc drive or a charging dock, a shoulder strap, and water resistance for travel in the rainy season.

Who Is the PS5 Pro Travel Bag For?

Ideal for:

• PS5 Pro owners who want to protect an expensive console while travelling
• Players taking the Pro to friends’ homes, tournaments or LAN events
• Students carrying their console between home and campus
• Buyers who want a bag made for the Pro rather than a generic backpack

Not ideal for:

• Original PS5 or PS5 Slim owners
• Travellers who also need to carry a laptop
• Anyone needing confirmed waterproofing or hard-shell protection before buying

Pros and Cons

The Travel Carrying Bag for PS5 Pro has genuine strengths at KSh 6,500. It is made specifically for the PS5 Pro, for a more secure fit than bags built for other models. It gives low-cost protection for Sony’s most expensive console, keeps the console and setup together, and costs KSh 4,500 less than the Jaffzora backpack.

Its main limitations are that it is designed for the PS5 Pro only. The brand, dimensions, materials, padding and compartments are not specified. Space for the separately sold disc drive and stand is not confirmed, and it has no confirmed laptop space or water resistance.

PS5 Pro Travel Bag vs Jaffzora Game Console Travel Backpack

The two take different approaches to carrying a console. The PS5 Pro Travel Bag, at KSh 6,500, is made specifically for the PS5 Pro. The Jaffzora backpack, at KSh 11,000, is a larger, general console backpack, about 39 x 23 x 42cm. It is made from scratch- and tear-resistant nylon with a thick padded lining and has room for a console plus a laptop of up to 15.6 inches. Front, side and internal pockets hold controllers, headsets, discs and cables, and it offers padded shoulder straps, carry handles and a luggage trolley strap. It lists PS5, PS4 and Xbox One compatibility, but a PS5 Pro fit isn’t confirmed.

For PS5 Pro owners who want a bag made for their console at a lower price, the PS5 Pro Travel Bag is the pick; travellers who carry a laptop and want confirmed padding and pockets can consider the Jaffzora backpack after confirming the Pro fits.
