After along months of speculations Samsung officially unpacked the Samsung Gear watch 2018 in New York. This Smart watch replaces the previous Samsung Galaxy Gear S3 as the Flagship. This is the first watch to be aligned under the Galaxy banner and supports 4G network.

The Watch has a battery life of up to seven days, meaning you can do more with it without worrying about your battery charge.

 The watch comes in two different sizes that’s 42mm and 46mm. User will now be able to choose between two different sizes for the first time. The 46mm version is available in black and rose gold with 42mm option.

For the physical specifications 42mm option will feature a 1.2 inch, 360 x 360 Super AMOLED display and will weigh 49 with its official clock in at 41.9 x 45.7 x 12.7 mm,.

This is a bit different from its sister 46mm option which comes with 46 x 49 x 13mm and weighs 63g with a screen size of 1.3 inch screen with similar resolution of 360 x360.

It was initially rumored that it will feature Wear OS but comes with Tizen OS 4.0. its features a signature rotating bezel, NFC for payments, 4 GB of internal memory, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a IP68 water resistance rating.

The integration of this Smart Watch doesn’t end there, it controls devices on the watch through the SmartThings App, their music through the Spotify app, it includes offline streaming, and keeps information secure through Samsung Knox and unlock their PC using Samsung Flow.
