Samsung Galaxy A41 performance
The Samsung Galaxy A41 comes with a Mediatek MT6768 Helio P65 12nm chipset, coupled with an octa-core 2.2GHz Cortex CPU, two 2.0GHz A75 cores, and six 1.7GHz A55 cores, in addition to a Mali G52 MC2 GPU. The internal memory configurations are 4GB for RAM and 64GB for ROM, with a dedicated microSDXC to expand the memory by an extra 512GB. The configuration is stack in top midrange SoC territory, making it fast and a very formidable combination. It should have it easy on day to day use but it certainly holds up to graphics-intensive games and whatnot.
Camera
The Samsung Galaxy A41 has a triple camera set up, starting with an impressive 48mp 26mm wide-angle lens, an 8mp 12mm ultra-wide shooter, and a 5mp depth sensor. The photos are great. The primary shooter delivers well pixelated, rich, and sharp images, well balanced in light and very detailed. The depth sensor delivers the portrait and bokeh effects, with great edge detection and distance variance.
The low light photos are better than those of most of the devices in the same price range, giving off a well-exposed Night Mode with little noise. It can shoot 4K video at 30fps, 2k at 30fps, HD at 30/60/120fps while 720p can achieve up to 240fps. The selfie camera is no slouch either at 25mp, with HDR, and recording HD video at 30fps. Battery
The Samsung Galaxy A41 comes with the otherwise respectable 3500 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery which has powered many of Samsung’s former flagships for a while now. It easily lasts a day for the average user, augmented by One UI’s intelligent battery management. It is not apparent why Samsung didn’t choose to go with their battery variants between 4000-5000mAh but, for the power user, it’s comforting to know that it comes with 15W fast charging which fills it up with juice in a little under 2 hours. There is most certainly no wireless charging on board, which is rather an easy compromise.
Software
Out of the box, the Samsung Galaxy A41 comes with the best and the latest Android 10.0 with Samsung’s custom One UI 2 slapped on top. The UI is remodeled and optimized to get rid of the unnecessary bloatware that slows the OS down. Therefore, it feels light, fast and modern, with a few tricks up its sleeve to increase productivity, as compared to custom Android. When paired with the SoC, the Samsung Galaxy A41 gives off a performance that could easily rival flagships of days gone by.
The Samsung Galaxy A41 is truly a very unique device. From having a powerful saturated AMOLED screen to a considerably smaller battery, from having a Mediatek processor to being IP68 rated for dust and water. It’s not every day these kinds of specs come together, but they did and they did beautifully. In addition to NFC, Bluetooth 5, and dual standby nano sim, there is hardly anything to complain about this phone. It comes in Black, White, and Blue.
