Infinix Hot 11 Play
The Infinix Hot 11 Play price in Kenya is Ksh 15,500. Infinix Hot 11 Play brings competitive pricing to budget phones balancing out the basic features with decent performance and a huge screen. It sports a 6.6-inch screen, decent 4GB RAM, a massive 6000mAh battery, and the decent Helio G35 chipset. That’s certainly eye-catching a device at its price point
Design
Infinix Hot 11 Play comes with a 6.82-inch IPS LCD screen with a dewdrop notch design for the selfie camera. It’s a huge phone, bigger than most phones in its class. It’s hardly a one-handed operation, with a screen-to-body ratio of 82.4%. It has a plastic frame and back and a Corning Gorilla Glass front panel. It is very bright and vivid, peaking at 440 nits. It’s not rated for splash protection, but it’s certainly not waterproof. Fortunately, it has top-placed a headphone jack. It has a physical fast rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It has a dual downward-firing speaker, which is great for playing media.
Performance
Infinix Hot 11 Play comes with the budget Mediatek Helio G70, making it decently fast. It has a Cortex Octa-core CPU paired with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU, with storage options of 4 GB for RAM & 64 or 128 GB for ROM. It also comes with a dedicated expandable memory option. It is running the latest Android 11, with an XOS 7.6 skin on top. The performance feels fast, smooth, and rich in color. It however comes with lots of pre-installed apps, which can be an underwhelming experience, especially if you are not used to bloatware. The OS is however very customizable, with tonnes of themes and other customizations.
Cameras
Infinix Hot 11 Play has a duo camera arrangement on the back. It comes with a 13 MP primary sensor, for those excellent daylight photos. Additionally, it has a VGA depth sensor. It’s clearly not very invested in the camera department, but it still delivers decently. It will predictably deliver less and less as light reduces, but that’s the concession for this price. The video can support up to 1080p video at 30 fps, with HDR support. The selfie camera is a decent 8MP wide sensor, capable of 1080p video at 30fps. The selfies are great and well-lit.
Other features
The Infinix Hot 11 Play supports USB Type C, but it does not support fast charging. Needless to say, there is also no wireless charging. On the flip side, it comes with a massive Li-Po 6000mAh non-removable battery. It can get fully charged in just over 1 and a half hours at 10W. That would make this a phone for those with tight budgets, interested more in the screen and performance, and less in the camera and fast charging. There is no NFC too so contactless payments. It comes in Green, Gold, Blue, and Black
