DeadSkull Travel Carrying Bag for PS5 (Standard Model)

DeadSkull Travel Carrying Bag for PS5 (Standard Model) Price in Kenya, Full Specifications and Review (2026)

The DeadSkull Travel Carrying Bag for PS5 (Standard Model) price in Kenya is KSh 5,500. It is a dedicated travel bag for the original PlayStation 5, the larger launch model, designed for carrying the console safely to a friend’s house, a gaming tournament, a hostel or a holiday. It is sized for the standard PS5 rather than the smaller PS5 Slim or the PS5 Pro.

A dedicated console bag matters because the PS5 is large, heavy and awkward to carry, and it isn’t built to be bumped around. Carrying it loose in a backpack or shopping bag risks scratches, cracked side covers, damaged ports and, in the worst case, internal damage from a knock. A bag sized for the console holds it steady and keeps the controllers and cables together, so nothing gets left behind.

The comparison at Phonesstore Kenya is the Jaffzora Game Console Travel Backpack at KSh 11,000. The Jaffzora is a padded backpack that fits a PS5 and a 15.6-inch laptop, with multiple pockets and a luggage trolley strap. The DeadSkull costs half as much and is made specifically for the standard PS5, making it the budget choice for owners who just need to move their console.

You can buy the DeadSkull Travel Carrying Bag for PS5 (Standard Model) from Phonesstore Kenya, where it is available with competitive pricing and nationwide delivery across Kenya.

Why Use a Dedicated PS5 Travel Bag?

The original PS5 is one of the largest consoles ever made. It is about 39cm tall and weighs over 4kg, and its glossy black centre and white side covers scratch easily. A dedicated carrying bag keeps the console in one place during travel instead of letting it slide around, reducing the risk of knocks to the case, the ports and the internal components. For anyone who carries their PS5 regularly, such as students moving between home and campus, friends rotating game nights, or players travelling upcountry for the holidays, a bag is a small cost compared with repairing or replacing a damaged console.

A bag also keeps the setup together. Arriving with the console but no HDMI cable or controller is a common frustration, and a bag that holds everything in one place makes it less likely.

Compatibility

This bag is designed for the standard PS5, the original 2020 launch model, in either its Disc Edition or Digital Edition form. The PS5 Slim is noticeably smaller and the PS5 Pro has a different shape, so they won’t fit as securely in a bag sized for the original model, and the console may move around inside. PS5 Slim and Pro owners should choose a bag made for their model, or a general-purpose padded console backpack.

What to Check Before Buying

The bag’s dimensions, materials, padding and internal compartments are not specified. Buyers who need specific features, such as room for two controllers, a headset or a charging dock, a shoulder strap, or water resistance for travelling in the rainy season, should confirm the details with the store before buying.

Who Is the DeadSkull PS5 Travel Bag For?

Ideal for:

• Original PS5 owners who need an affordable bag to carry their console
• Students moving their console between home and campus or a hostel
• Players taking their PS5 to friends’ homes, gaming events or on holiday
• Buyers who want a bag made specifically for the standard PS5 rather than a generic backpack

Not ideal for:

• PS5 Slim or PS5 Pro owners
• Buyers who also need to carry a laptop, who would be better served by a larger console backpack
• Anyone needing confirmed waterproofing or hard-shell protection before purchase

Pros and Cons

The DeadSkull Travel Carrying Bag has genuine strengths at KSh 5,500. It is made specifically for the original PS5 and gives safer transport than carrying the console loose. It keeps the console and setup together in one bag and costs half as much as the Jaffzora console backpack.

Its main limitations are that it is sized for the standard PS5 only, not the Slim or Pro. Dimensions, materials, padding and compartments are not specified, and it has no confirmed laptop compartment or water resistance.

DeadSkull PS5 Travel Bag vs Jaffzora Game Console Travel Backpack

Both are designed to carry a PS5, but they suit different buyers. The DeadSkull bag, at KSh 5,500, is made specifically for the original PS5 and costs half as much. It is the budget pick for owners who just need to move their console. The Jaffzora Game Console Travel Backpack, at KSh 11,000, is made from scratch- and tear-resistant nylon with a thick padded lining, and measures about 39 x 23 x 42cm. It fits a PS5 alongside a laptop of up to 15.6 inches, with front, side and internal pockets for controllers, headsets, discs and cables. It offers padded shoulder straps, carry handles and a luggage trolley strap, and also fits PS4 and Xbox One consoles.

For original PS5 owners who simply need to carry their console for less, the DeadSkull bag is the budget pick; for travellers who also carry a laptop and want confirmed padding and pockets, the Jaffzora backpack is worth the extra KSh 5,500.
