Vivo Y35 summary
Vivo Y35 brings competitive pricing to budget phones balancing out the basic features with decent performance and its massive array of batteries. It sports a 6.58 inch IPS LED screen, decent 8GB RAM, a massive 5000mAh battery, 18w fast charging, and the decent Helio G80 chipset. That’s certainly eye-catching a device at its price point.
The Vivo Y33s measures 164.3 x 76.1 x 8 mm (height x width x thickness) with a total weight of 182 grams. Coming to cameras, it has a triple 50 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP rear camera and a 16 MP front camera for selfies. This phone has a 6.58 inches, 1080 x 2408 pixels IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 401 PPI. It has a 2.0, Type-C 1.0 port for data syncing and charging. There is a fingerprint sensor present on the Vivo Y33s. It is a dual SIM smartphone with support for 4G, Wi-Fi, and GPS too. Buy it today at PhonesStore Kenya.
Design
Vivo Y33s comes with a 6.58-inch IPS LCD screen with a dewdrop notch design for the selfie camera. It’s a huge phone, hardly a one-handed operation, with a screen-to-body ratio of 83.4%. It has a plastic frame and back and a scratch-resistant front panel. It is very bright and vivid, peaking at 500 nits. It’s not rated for splash protection, but it’s certainly not waterproof. Fortunately, it has top-placed a headphone jack. It has a physical fast side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which also acts as the home button. It has a downward-firing speaker, which is great for playing media.
Performance
Vivo Y33s comes with the budget Mediatek Helio G80, making it decently fast. It has a Cortex Octa-core CPU paired with a Mali G52 GPU, with storage options of 4/8 GB for RAM & 64 or 128 GB for ROM. It also comes with a dedicated expandable memory option. Y33s is running the latest Android 11, with a Funtouch 11.1 skin on top. The performance feels fast, smooth, and rich in color. It however comes with lots of pre-installed apps, which can be an underwhelming experience, especially if you are not used to bloatware. The OS is however very customizable, with tones of themes and other customizations.
Cameras
Vivo Y33s has a triple camera arrangement on the back. It comes with a 50 MP primary sensor, for those excellent daylight photos. Additionally, it has a 2MP depth sensor & a 2MP macro. It still delivers decently and colorfully. It will predictably deliver less and less as light reduces, but that’s the concession for this price. The video can support up to 1080p video at 30 fps, with HDR support. The selfie camera is a decent 16MP wide sensor, capable of 1080p video at 30fps. The selfies are great and well-lit.
Other features
The Vivo Y33s supports USB Type C, with 18W fast charging. Needless to say, there is also no wireless charging. On the flip side, it comes with a massive Li-Po 5000mAh non-removable battery that supports reverse charging. It can get fully charged in just over 1 hour. Despite being a budget phone, the addition of the fairly quick chipset & big battery really does turntables for this device. It truly is a beautiful device to look at. There is NFC too for contactless payments and a radio.
It comes in Mirror Black and Midday Dream.
