DeadSkull Console Carrying Bag for PS5 Slim

DeadSkull Console Carrying Bag for PS5 Slim Price in Kenya, Full Specifications and Review (2026)

The DeadSkull Console Carrying Bag for PS5 Slim price in Kenya is KSh 5,500. It is a travel bag made for the PS5 Slim, Sony’s smaller redesign of the PlayStation 5. It is built for owners who take their console to friends’ homes, gaming events, campus or on holiday, and want it to arrive without scratches or knocks.

A bag sized for the console matters with the Slim. Sony made the PS5 Slim about 30% smaller by volume than the original, so bags designed for the larger launch PS5 leave the Slim sliding around inside, which defeats the point of a protective bag. A bag cut for the Slim holds it more securely and keeps the controllers and cables together.

The comparison at Phonesstore Kenya is the Jaffzora Game Console Travel Backpack at KSh 11,000. The Jaffzora is a padded nylon backpack with room for a PS5 and a 15.6-inch laptop, several pockets and a luggage trolley strap. The DeadSkull bag costs half as much and is made specifically for the PS5 Slim, making it the budget choice for Slim owners who just need to move their console.

You can buy the DeadSkull Console Carrying Bag for PS5 Slim from Phonesstore Kenya, where it is available with competitive pricing and nationwide delivery across Kenya.

Why the PS5 Slim Needs Its Own Bag

The PS5 Slim launched in late 2023 as a smaller, lighter version of the PS5. Sony quoted around 30% less volume than the original model, and the Slim weighs about 3.2kg for the Disc Edition and 2.6kg for the Digital Edition. That makes it more portable than the bulky launch PS5, and more likely to be carried around. Its smaller size also means bags built for the original PS5 are too roomy, leaving the console loose inside. A bag sized for the Slim reduces that movement, lowering the risk of scratches on its glossy and matte panels, cracked covers and knock damage to the ports.

The Slim has another detail worth knowing: the Digital Edition can take a detachable disc drive, sold separately, and the Disc Edition’s drive is also removable. Owners carrying a separate drive should check that the bag can hold it securely, as it isn’t specified.

Compatibility

This bag is designed for the PS5 Slim, in either its Disc Edition or Digital Edition form. It is not designed for the original launch PS5, which is much larger and won’t fit, or the PS5 Pro, which has a different shape. Original PS5 owners should choose a bag made for the standard model.

What to Check Before Buying

The bag’s dimensions, materials, padding and compartments are not specified. Buyers who need specific features, such as space for two DualSense controllers, a headset, the detachable disc drive or a charging dock, a shoulder strap, or water resistance for rainy-season travel, should confirm the details with the store before buying.

Who Is the DeadSkull PS5 Slim Bag For?

Ideal for:

• PS5 Slim owners who want an affordable bag made for their console
• Students carrying their Slim between home, campus and hostels
• Players taking the console to friends’ homes, tournaments or on holiday
• Buyers who prefer a bag sized for the Slim over a roomy generic backpack

Not ideal for:

• Original PS5 or PS5 Pro owners
• Travellers who also need to carry a laptop
• Anyone needing confirmed waterproofing or hard-shell protection before buying

Pros and Cons

The DeadSkull Console Carrying Bag for PS5 Slim has genuine strengths at KSh 5,500. It is made specifically for the PS5 Slim for a more secure fit than oversized bags, and it gives safer transport than carrying the console loose. It keeps the console and setup together and costs half as much as the Jaffzora backpack.

Its main limitations are that it is designed for the PS5 Slim only, not the original PS5 or the PS5 Pro. Dimensions, materials, padding and compartments are not specified. Space for the detachable disc drive is not confirmed, and it has no confirmed laptop space or water resistance.

DeadSkull PS5 Slim Bag vs Jaffzora Game Console Travel Backpack

The two take different approaches to carrying a console. The DeadSkull bag, at KSh 5,500, is made specifically for the PS5 Slim and costs half as much. It is the budget choice for Slim owners. The Jaffzora backpack, at KSh 11,000, is a larger, all-purpose console backpack, about 39 x 23 x 42cm, made from scratch- and tear-resistant nylon with a thick padded lining. It fits a PS5 alongside a laptop of up to 15.6 inches and has front, side and internal pockets for controllers, headsets, discs and cables. It offers padded shoulder straps, carry handles and a luggage trolley strap, and also fits PS4 and Xbox One consoles.

For PS5 Slim owners who want a bag made for their console at half the price, the DeadSkull is the pick; for travellers carrying a laptop who want confirmed padding and pockets, the Jaffzora backpack justifies the extra KSh 5,500.
