Launch

The Infinix Hot 10s was released on 2021, April 21. It is also a Dual SIM smartphone that uses Nano-SIM and has a dual standby. On the front is a dew-drop display wherein the selfie camera lies. Its back panel has a triple-camera module on the right-hand side. As for the fingerprint scanner, there is rear-mounted just beside the camera module.

Infinix Hot 10s comes in the colors Black, Purple, Morandi Green, Heart of Ocean. It makes use of the micro USB 2.0 and has a 3.5 mm jack. The phone also has Bluetooth, and GPS with A-GPS. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot. As for radio (FM/AM).

Network

The Infinix Hot 10S smartphone supports four network technologies. These are GSM, HSPA, and LTE. HSPA extends and improves the performance of existing 3G mobile telecommunication networks using the WCDMA protocols. LTE  is a standard for wireless broadband communication for mobile devices and data terminals, based on the GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSPA technologies.

Global System for Mobile Communications is a standard developed by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute to describe the protocols for second-generation digital cellular networks used by mobile devices such as mobile phones and tablets.

Display

Now, let us take a look at the display this phone has to offer. Everyone loves a good display on a phone for obvious reasons. Namely, the display is the one part of a phone you will ever interact with. Infinix Hot 10S has a decent display panel that measures 6.82 inches, 110.5 cm². It is an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that supports 16M colors and multi-touch. This display has a decent 720 x 1640 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and an equally fair 263 PPI density.

Platform

A phone platform is the hardware/software environment for tablets, smartphones, and other portable devices. Infinix Hot 10S runs on the Android 11 operating system. Android 11 is the eleventh major release and 18th version of Android, the mobile operating system developed by the Open Handset Alliance led by Google. Also powering the Infinix Hot 10S is an Octa-core (2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55), MediaTek Helio G85 (12nm) chipset.

Under the hood, it also brings a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU. The ARM Mali-G52 MP2 (or G52MC2) is an integrated mid-range graphics card for ARM based SoCs (mostly Android based). It was introduced mid 2020 in the MediaTek Helio G80 with a clock speed of up to 950 MHz. The phone comes with 64GB 4GB RAM, 64GB 6GB RAM, or 128GB 4GB RAM, 128GB 6GB RAM. You do get to expand the U20 5G storage using a dedicated micro SD slot (dedicated slot).

Cameras

There are four cameras on Infinix Hot 10S. They are made up of a main 48 MP, f/1.8, (wide), 1/2.0, 0.8µm, PDAF, 2 MP, f/2.4, (depth), and a third camera. Its main feature is Quad-LED flash, panorama, HDR and it can shoot video up to 1080p@30fps with the main camera, and 1080p@30fps with the selfie. Speaking of the selfie, on Hot 10S there is a single 8 MP, (wide) shooter.

Battery

Infinix Hot 10S has a respectable Li-Po 6000 mAh, non-removable battery. It is a lasting battery given its 6000 mAh capacity. This is the same capacity we see on similarly priced phones like Redmi 9T by Xiaomi.
