    Realme GT Master 5G

The Realme GT Master is a competitively priced refresh to the midranges, excellent midrange performance device, with top of its class super AMOLED 120Hz screen, a primary 64MP camera, impressive 65W fast charging, a huge battery at 4300mAh and a refreshed 778G Snapdragon chipset. It ticks pretty much every box, and then some. Add 5G to the mix and this phone is nothing but a beast!

    Design

The Realme GT Master comes with a 6.43-inch super AMOLED screen with a left-handed punch-hole design for the selfie camera. It’s a massive screen, hardly a one-handed operation, with a screen-to-body ratio of 85.3%. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz refresh rate, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and supports HD10+ which makes it an absolute delight to consume media with.

It has an aluminum frame, glass or leather back and a Corning Gorilla Victus front panel. It is very bright and vivid, peaking at 1000 nits. It’s rated for IP53 dust and splash protection, which means it’s not necessarily waterproof. Fortunately, it keeps the headphone jack, which has been conspicuously missing from other phones in this range. It has an on-the-screen fingerprint sensor in, addition to secure face unlocks. It supports stereo speakers, which offer great sound when playing media.

    Performance

The Realme GT Master is a beast with the latest generation midrange Qualcomm SM7325 Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset, making it very fast and great for gaming. It has a Kyro Octa-core CPU paired with an Adreno 642L GPU, with storage options of 6 or 8 GB for RAM & 64/128/256 GB for ROM. It does not offer an expandable memory option.

Paired with the 120Hz screen, running the latest Android 11 with a Realme UI 2.0 skin on top, the performance feels very fast and premium. Realme UI 2.0 is rich in customizations, supporting numerous always-on screen animations and true blacks. No lags or slow transitions on this one. Everything feels fast, fluid, and rich in color.

    Cameras

The Realme GT Master has a triple camera arrangement on the back. It comes with a decent 64 MP primary sensor, with 8 MP picture binning for those excellent daylight photos. The ultra-wide is an 8MP lens, with a 119˚field of view, giving it great immersion for those landscape or group photos. There is an extra 2MP macro telephoto lens for those nice, close-up photos. The video can support up to 4K video at 30 fps, with HDR supports & gyro-EIS stability assistance. It can also record 1080p video at 60 fps. The selfie camera is a generous 32MP wide sensor, capable of 1080p video at 30fps. The selfies are great and well-lit.

    Other features

We can’t fail to mention the charging speeds in the Realme GT Master. At 65W Quick Charge 4+ fast charging, the phone can get fully charged in about 33 min. That’s impressive by all standards. That in addition to the fact that it also comes with a Li-Po 4300mAh non-removable battery. Even with the high refresh rate screen, this should be more than enough. The main concession would be that there is no wireless charging here. It supports NFC for contactless paying. Its comes in Black, Gray, White, and Aurora
