It’s a massive screen, hardly a one-handed operation, with a screen-to-body ratio of 84.2%. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and supports HD10 which makes it an absolute delight to consume media with. It has a plastic frame, a glass back, and an Aluminosilicate glass-protected front panel.
It is very bright and vivid, peaking at 600 nits. It’s not rated for dust and splash protection, but it has a water-repellent coating for splash protection. Fortunately, it keeps the headphone jack. We can’t fail to mention the charging speeds in the Oppo K9x. At 33W fast charging, the phone can get to 50% in 27 mins. That’s passable by all standards. That is in addition to the fact that it also comes with a Li-Po 5000mAh non-removable battery. It’s also, interestingly, supports reverse charging. Even with the 90Hz LCD screen, this should be more than enough. The main concession would be that there is no wireless charging here. It does not support NFC for contactless paying.
