    Google Pixel 7 Review

The Google Pixel 7 is the latest smartphone from the tech giant, and it’s a solid update to the previous model. The phone has a new design, a better camera, and longer battery life. It’s not a major overhaul, but it’s a definite improvement.  If you’re considering upgrading to the Pixel 7, here’s everything you need to know. We’ll cover the phone’s specs, its cameras, battery life, and more.

    Chipset and Performance

Google’s Pixel phones are powered by the company’s own Google Tensor G2 (5 nm) chipset, which is a better upgrade over the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888  found in other high-end Android devices. The Tensor G2 is clocked slightly higher than the 888, and it offers improved performance in certain applications.

In terms of real-world usage, the Tensor G2 provides a noticeable boost over the 888. Apps open faster, web pages load more quickly, and overall system responsiveness is snappier. It’s not a night-and-day difference, but it’s noticeable nonetheless. If you’re looking for the absolute fastest phone on the market, the Pixel isn’t it. But for everyday use, it’s plenty fast and smooth.

    Display and Design

When it comes to the display and design of the Google Pixel, there is a lot to like. The phone has a 6.3-inch 1080p AMOLED display that looks great with a fresh rate of 90Hz. The phone is also very comfortable to hold and use thanks to its small size.

One area where the Pixel falls short is in its bezels. The top and bottom bezels are quite large, which makes the phone look a bit dated. This is not a deal breaker, but it is something to keep in mind. Overall, the Google Pixel is a great-looking and feeling phone with a few minor drawbacks.

    Battery Life

The Google Pixel has a non-removable 4355 mAh. battery with Fast & Wireless Charging. In our tests, the Pixel got up to 12 hours and 42 minutes of battery life when streaming full-screen video over LTE at 150 nits of brightness.

That’s good for a phone with a 6.3-inch screen, but not as impressive as some other flagships. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, for example, lasted 13:51 on the same test. The LG G5 managed 11:17, while the HTC 10 went for an even longer 14:06. Still, the Pixel should be able to last most people through a day of mixed-use. And if you need a little extra juice, there’s always Fast Charging.

    Camera Capabilities

When it comes to camera quality, the Google Pixel certainly doesn’t disappoint. The  50MP + 12-megapixel rear-facing camera is one of the best on the market and is capable of taking some truly stunning photos. Low-light performance is particularly impressive, thanks to the large 1.55μm pixels that are present on the sensor. At the same time, you get a 10.6-megapixel selfie camera.

The camera app is also very well designed and easy to use, with a minimalistic interface that puts all of the focus on your photo or video. There are a few different shooting modes to choose from, including Panorama, Photo Sphere, and HDR+, each of which can help you capture some amazing shots. Overall, the Google Pixel’s camera capabilities are really second to none and should be more than enough for even the most demanding photographers out there.
